A Military thriller that will be reminded of "The Hunt for Red October." Gerard Bulter gave a good performance. The best performance in years. he play Submarine Captain Joe Blass who is on a routine rescue mission when he came upon a plot to overthrow the Russian government and must come to the aid of the Russian president. With that he needs help from a Russian general played by Michael Nygvist who may be the closest thing to a Sean Connery. I'm going to stop there without reveal anymore plot, but you need the see this movie So rotten tomatoes rank it at 36%. Big Deal! Just go see it. It's a good thriller that you just got to see.

After serving 25 years on board various 637 class fast attack boats. never once did the crew in the control (attack center) yell out hura when going to battle stations! I've seen photos of what a torpedo hit does to a submerged target, what you find is broken equipment dislodged from what is left of the bulkheads along with massive amounts of shattered plumming and massive amounts of wiring all over the place. what you don't find is whole human bodies or any parts of what would even remind you of a human being. As the local sea life moves in very fast and quickly removes and bits and pieces that were left of the crew. Those are the facts of a sunken submarine with a ruptured hull from a direct hit by two torpedoes with three 1200 pound charges each. Rember it's not the explosive charge that kills you. It's the inrush of water that does the real damage to the crew an boat! So wait for the video to come out or see it on one of the movie channels. Besides the popcorn is a lot cheaper at home as is the parking.
