WOW! You must view it on the Big Screen and in 3D. You will lose something if you don't. A big THUMBS UP for Gravity 3D.

Be sure to get your snacks before the movie because you won't want to miss any of it.

The graphics are something you have probably never seen unless you have flown on the Space Shuttle. I recommend sitting as near the center of the theater as possible, for the visuals as well as the sounds, when they come up. I mean you don't really have much sound out there unless you have an atmosphere.

One more thing, if you do get sick from circus rides that go around and around you may feel a little funny while Ms Bullock is doing some early free-style tumbling. Otherwise, watch for the space junk flying at your head, make sure it does't hit you, (like someone) and be sure to look for those special tears...you'll understand when you see it. Enjoy the movie because it's one of the best for a while.

A worthwhile drama sat in outer space where the chances of survival are next to none. You have a better chance of survuval in the south pole where the tems are always below zero. Two astronaunts played by Sandra bullock and George Cloony are fighting for their lives after the space suffle is stuck with fragments from a meautor. They spend the movie floating in outer space in hopes of grabbing something in space. I saw the movie in 3D and if you never saw a 3D movie in your life, now the time to start with this movie. It the best 3D movie since "Hugo." As choosinbg between 2D and 3D movies, I have a saying; You don't pick the 3D movies, 3D movies pick you. "Gravity" is the one of the best movies of 2013. It will take you to place that you don't want to be.

If there is any justice in the world, when watching this movie, you will be seeing the Oscar winner for Best Actress, Best Director and Best Picture. A spectacular, suspenseful movie and the first movie where 3D has a legitimate effect.

This movie starts very strong. When George Clooney is part of the proceedings, you feel the energy present. This could be intentional in the way that it makes Sandra Bullock’s character feel isolated in her predicament, and we’re often there with her in a first-person perspective.

I haven’t seen this since it was released in theaters, but I bought the Blu-ray because I wanted to see it again, especially after watching some of the extras.

The theatrical Dolby Atmos sound effects in this movie were excellent demonstrations of the benefits of immersive sound. The effect at home (with an Atmos equipped system) is very similar in the scenes I’ve demoed, so I’m looking forward to watching it again.

Remember I said it started strong? It loses steam and challenges the viewer to maintain attention, but it is worth watching nonetheless and I think my opinion of it will improve with subsequent viewings.
