Bill Murray and director Richard Donner nailed this movie perfectly! They take a classic story and give it a fresh twist. Scrooged is definitely worth seeing and I would go so far as to say it may become a holiday tradition. Highly recommended! Nov 30, 2006
Bill Murray\'s wacky comedy that once again the novel \"A Christmas Carol\" was used, but this time it centered on a entertainment network being run by Murray. A strong cast help Murray and director Richard Donner carry the movie. Also John Houseman from \"the Paper Chase,\" made one of his final movies. I like this moder day version of \"A christmas Carol\" a lot. It\'s funny but it became emotional in the end. \"Put a Little Love in Your Life,\" one of those tunes from the 1960\'s, became a christmas carol for 1988.
