I didn't learn much from "Katy Perry: Part of Me." I like Katy as a singer, but this doctumentary offers very little about the singer. The only good moment from the movie is watching her perfrom on stage. That stage footage could've used as an HBO special. But this movie has only entertain her fans. The film centers on her world tour, as she went from one country to another to perform for her fans. At the bottom left of the screen are the days inwhich she was on the road. I think day 272 was a little too long for anybody that is headlining a world tour. Also her impending divorce from Russell Brand which hit her very hard. Therfe was one scene in the movie which I find objectable. A scene inwhich Katy was in her dressing room crying and the camera caught her in a moment of distress. That scene was cheap and it should have been cut from the movie.Like I said before, this movie was made only for hewr fans. Anyone who not a fan of the singer will have a hard time sitting though this movie. Looking for more opinions?Check out our Featured Movie Reviews for Katy Perry: Part of Me. |
