"The Secret Life of Walter Mitty" is quiote a different movie from the 1947 movie version. that version I saw about a week ago on Turner Classic Movies. In the 1947 version of the film Walter Mitty became a victim of a kidnapping plot. This new version has no kidnapping plot. This new version is about the closing down of Time Magazine. The new Mitty, played by Ben Stiller who also directed this movie,He play a daydreamer who is concern about missing frame from a well know photographer played by Sean Penn. He then set out to find him. Kristin Wiig plays his love intrest. She is more appeal than anything she done since "Bridesmaids." The author of the short story James Thurber denounced the 1947 movie version. He simply didn't like it. Thurber died in 1961. If he had live to see the new version, would he like it? Maybe? Probaby not?
