I saw the movie the other night on Turner Classic Movies. If you haven't watch that channel, you should. It's a very important channel about movies and one such movie that Iu saw is "Intolerence" and it's a full-scale epic by D.W. Griffith. Two years earlier, he directed "Birth of a Nation" which I also saw on TCM and it was contoversial over race and it protray the Klu Ku Klan as the good guys. Griffith's answer to the critics is the movie "Intolerance" which is his answer to the critics of the 1914 movie. The film message is we need to get along. The film is divided into four stories blend into a three and a half hour movie. There is a modern story which took plkace I believe in 1915 in a man is commend to death for a crime that he didn't commit. The second story took place in the St. Bartholomew's Day Masascre of 1572. The third story took place in Babylon, peparing for an invasion from Persia and the fourth story is the story of Jesus Christ. All those story was brough together by a woman who rock the craddle. She is played by Lillian Gish. This is a must see movie. For movie fans and silent fans and those who never saw a silent movie in their life. This is a great movie and I hoipe everyone will get an chance to see this movie.
