A beautiful computer animated movie that is so beautiful, you can't help it but stare at the screen in amazement. The film is based on the book "Here Be Monsters" by Alan Snow. the film tells the tale of a boy name Eggs (believe me,that his name) who was raised by cave dwelling monsters who only come out at night to collect garbage. They wear boxes, not because they use it to hide, but they're really naked. Keep that in mind as you see this movie. The main villain is the exteminator who he goes aroud and kidnapped boxtrolls who he clain keep the streets safe from them. But Eggs ( I love the name) is trying to get the word out that boxtrolls are not the monsters that folks claim to be. Despite a few scary moments, I think adults as well as kids will like the movie. I saw the movie in 3D. I could have see it in 2D, but why?
