My very first contention for worst movie of the year and that's coming from a time where not much is playing in theatres other than the Oscar contending movies. This is a second-rate dredful science fiction movie that that's all the costumes, the sets and the special effects, but the acting is dead in the water. Instead of reciting lines, they should recite the Tace Bell meau. That will be far better than act in this movie. Mila Kunis is appealing but doesn't do much as a woman who finds out that she been in the middle of a faqmily feud for many centuries. When she's in danger, it was Channing Tatum to the rescue. Eddie Redmayne's villain role is the lamest villain I've have seen in years. He's up for an Oscar for Best Acting for "The Theory of Everything." There's nothing to like about this film. Nothing to like, except maybe Kunis' fashion taste. The film is made by the Wachowskis, whom I support such movies as "Speed Racer" and "Cloud Atlas." "Jupitar Ascending" has worn out my welcome. After that, they're on their own.

This is great fun. It's fast-paced with excellent special effects. Who really controls earth? What are their motives? What if someone comes along and doesn't agree with those motives? There's more lazers and upside down space battles than you can shake a stick at. And, there's a heart rendering love story. I was very happy leaving the theater.
