Good as a movie but doesn't end like the book.

If someone walks up to me and ask, "Are You a Tom Hanks Fan?" I will probably say no. If you are a big tom Hanks Fan, you need to appreciate his body of work, which i will never do. I only appreciated Tom Hank on a film per film basis. One such movie that goes with my rule is "Inferno." It could have been a good movie, which Stars hanks and director Ron Howard, but the real letdown of the movie is that the film's pace which is an action movie to slow down to a crawl. At the start of the film, Hanks (as Robert Langdon) awakes at a hospital with memory loss. The Inferno scenes in the movie are good, but cut away editing didn't help the scene. Tom joins forces with Felicity Jones who didn't help much. He latter team with another woman played by Sidse Babett Kundson who is the only supporting performance in the movie. the villain who is out to destroy civilization is much to like. he looks and someone who acts like he's pitching real estate. The movie never got into gear until the final 30 minutes when Tom Robert was in Istanbul to track the virus down. the film could've been better if the film got little more action and fun. but it never came to be. I like the two other movie which feature Langdon, but the third movie never equal to to last two. if you want to see Tom Hanks in a better movie, see "Sully" instead.
