"In the Heart of the Sea" believe me or not is based on a true story which led to the novel "Moby Dick." That book became the subject matter of many feature movies including a cartoon series in the 1960's which has nothing to do with the book. You think that author Herman Melville would make stuff us as he wrote the novel. He had to interview someone. And he across someone who told him about a ill-fated voyage which was destroyed by a huge whale, which leads to survival of the fittest. The film inwhich it was told reminds me of the 1939 film "Gunga Din" inwhich the poem was written by Rudyard Kipling based on true events. The whalesmen bttle with the giant whale reminds me of King Kong, except the ape became a whale. it's a good movie. it will encouraged people to take up "Moby Dick" to read.
