A PS is in order after reading some of the Professional Reviewers.

If you are still upset concerning the 9-11 disaster or the 2004 Indian Ocean earthquake and tsunami or even the one that struck Japan...well don't go see this movie because it might upset your tender senses...but if you can just go have fun and see the movie for what it is...a DISASTER FLICK of epic proportions...please do and just forget the world for about 2 hours!

Afterwards, you can get back to worrying about the economy or terrorists or whatever you want. But for now, just enjoy yourself for a little bit!

An action movie it is, though surrealistic, but I won't get into that.

Over all the 3d was great, it put you in the scene, but not with a bunch of objects flying at you. It was just enough to make you feel part of the action.

The special effects were outstanding, well done and very enjoyable.

When Warren Beatty won his Oscar for directing "Reds" in 1981, He announced that the next movie would be a remake of the 1936 filom 'Sam Francisco." Well, as it turns out, Beatty never made the film. But "Sam Andres" may be the cloest thing to the remake of the classic movie starring Clark Gable and Spencer Tracy. Dwayne Johnson did a good job as the hero who comes to the rescue of his ex-wife played by Caqrla Gugino (It's nice to see her back on the big screen again) and Alexandra Daddario as her daughter. (didn't you notice that Alexandea looks a little bit like a young Tiffani Theissen?) The special effect really outdid the cast in the movie. Far better than "Sam Frtancisco" and the 1975 movie "Earthquake." It's an action pack film that will put viewers on the edge of your seat. One thing's for certtain, this movie won't leave you bore.

Very, very far-fetched throughout the entire movie...I actually think this should have been billed "action comedy" for how outrageous everything was! The beginning with the girl driving her car should have been a learning experience but she makes it safely around a steep bend not just once when she reaches behind the drivers seat for her purse, but also when she takes her eyes off the road to text . She neither goes over the edge or gets hit by another car---nothing until she is rocked off the edge by earthquake tremors. Yeah, I guess it's okay to do those things as long as there isn't an earthquake!!! The movie was fun though and I love the actors which is why I gave it a "good" rating.
