Another dreadful movie from the folks Happy Madison production who just can seem to get a good comedy made. This movie has been passed off as a family movie despite the PG-13 and having kids act very mean and very loud. The film by itself is one loud, mean, movie. The only thing the movie is missing are the bullhorns. Adam Sandler who seems to play the same character over and over again. Only the names have changed. He plays a guy who works at Dick's Sporting Goods and hangs out a Hooters. His blind date is Drew Barrymore which turns out to be very bad. Later the two with children ran into each other at a resort in South Africa. The children aren't entertaining as the film trivalize their mental heath issues. One girl is kept being mistaken as a dude. She is played by Bella Throne, a rising young star who deserves better than this. One kid couldn't play baseball and one kid set ups an empty plate for her dead mother. These kid's problems are totaly ignored nuntil the end. by then the people in the audience is starring at the exits, praying that the movie will end. Kevin Nealon is also in the movie. He's lucky that his career didn't end with "Bucky Larson: Born to Be a Star." "Blended" is made just to fill empty movie theatres until another dredful comedy comes along. So far in May. we got three bad comedy, "Blended," "A Million Ways to Die in the West" and "Neighbors." There is a very good comedy called "Chef" that is playing in theatres now. Do me a favor, aviod thses three losers of a movie and see "Chef" instead. At best "Blended" is bland to the core.

Maybe being an Adam Sandler and (and I love Drew Barrymore) fan helps that I liked this movie, but there are only 2 of his movies that I did not like at all (Little Nikki and Happy Gilmore). This movie actually has a story-line (albeit predictable) and I love seeing kids go from bratty and unmanageable to kids one actually likes! This movie flowed at a good pace with some laugh-out-loud moments; it was an enjoyable 2 hrs!
