Very good movie - very funny. This title of this movie kind of turned me off esp. when someone that I don't think goes to the movies much asks me what movie I'm going to see.

Kevin Hart did a great with his part and so did William Ferrell compared to the last movie I saw him him - I had kind of written him off.

"Get Hard" is bad, but not as bad as you think. it has comic energy and the brilliant energy between Will Ferrell and Kevin Hart. But the script and direction didn't save the movie. it had too many jokes aim at gays and minorities. it also contain penis and rape jokes. In today's comedy, you need a lot of penis jokes to carry a movie. They are wrong. Ferrell plays a hedge fund manager who was found gulity of a crime that he didn't committed. In the process, he got ten years in prison. He turns to Kevin Hart to train him to survive prison. The reason why, because he's black and he though he went though prison himself. It reminds me of a scene in the TV show "The Good Wife," inwhich one of the characters had to prepare for prison for a drug charge. Despite a weak script, there are a few good moments. will's home is turned into a real life prison and in one funny scene why stage a prison riot. But despite that scene, there not much to recommend. the chemistry is there between Ferrell and Hart, but no such luck.

I love Will Ferrell and even though I could have done without all the f-words in this movie (always a big turn off for any movie) I enjoyed the movie. Lots of "stupid" fun!
