This movie has a few great lines, but little life in this sitcon driven comedy that offer a few laugh and nothing more. A talented cast has taken their roles and turn them into second rate characters. Take Rebel Wilson who continues her Fat Amy character from The Pitch perfect movies, except under another name. There's very little to like and it only offer very few good moments. Instead of seeing this movie, how about staying home to watch "Younger" on TV Land. It's a much better in looking at single life. I watch the show every Wednesday night and i love it very much.

While definitely more comedic and funny than a good number of other "romantic comedy" style movies that have come out in recent memory, How to Be Single still falls short because it's just not interesting. Many more of the jokes land, but we don't really care about most of the characters telling them. There is very little arc in any of the many characters' motives or emotions, and very little changes from the time the audience is first introduced to the character to the time the credits are rolling.
