Good and fairly predictable.

Can you say Pink Panther?

Depp is no pink panther, or Monty Python just another drunk pirate. It has some funny parts but not enough to make up for the price of the ticket.

A dull comedy that will make audiences believe less in the career of Johnny Depp. He plays the title character and he plays his role as dull. So dull, that his mustache, which sticks out like a sore thumb, develops a life of its own. Anyday now, there could be a Twitter account of his mustache which will probaby get more followers than the movie itself. In the movie, he tracks down a stolen painting which takes around the world. He got an assistant name John, who's been shot, beaten, being attacked by a dog. This guy needs hazard pay. There nothing to like about the movie. Except for one thing; Gwyneth Paltrow. Her sense of fashion may have kept this film from being one of the worst movies of all time. there's been a lot of bad press abou Paltrow, but she did some good and that is keeping the film barely alive.

Everyone in this ensemble cast is better than this movie. Paul Bettany, Ewan McGregor, Jeff Goldblum, Johnny Depp, and even Gwyneth Paltrow combined can't overcome this slug of a movie. Even director David Koepp did work on films like Mission: Impossible, Jurassic Park, and the original Spider-Man couldn't help this film. Stay away.
