A Science fiction movie that is much smarter and much better than you think. In the film, two men are driving a kid name Alton across Texas with the government making the people think itg was an Am,ber alert, (The television set were tune into HLN also own by Time Warner which also owns Warner Brothers) going after them.the kid who wears goggles and reading comic book, (DC Comics since this movie was released by Warner Brothers which owns DC Comics) The government has an interest in the kid because he had some sort of special powers, something the government wants from the boy.But within this pursue hides a even bigger secret, so big that I refuse to talk about this in the review.. Jeff Nichols who directed "Mud," has directed this amazing Science fiction movie in which a lot of people should need to view this. The cast includes Michael Shannon and Joel Edgerton as the drivers who help Alton race across Texas, Sam Shephred as the leader of a religious cult, Adam Driver as the NSA analyst who believes in the kid and Kristin Dunst who pl;ays the boy's mother. this movie relays on more drama (no one liners just to be cute) and less special effects, a rare find in a science fiction movie. Different and daring. If you think all science fiction movies are the same, you need to see this. You won't look at Science fiction movie the same way again.
