I didn't watch much horror movies in 2014 because the just that horror movies likes to imitated the same plotlines from other horror movies. Ans the CGI special effects didn't help much. Watching "It Follows" reminds me of a time where horror movies are scary with much of special effects and this movie reminds me that it could happen again. This movie is smart and yes, it also scary It's the best horror film in two years. The last good horror movie was "The Conjouring." . "It follows" tell the story about a woman who is followed by human like creatures, some of them you can't see. but they're there and that makes this movie that much scary. This film is so scary that it didn't need CGI to make it so. "It Follows" was made in Michigan and that's a major plus. We need more movie to be film in Michigan. Especially in Kalamazoo, whree the film "Cherry" was filmed some eight years ago.

This is one of the WORST movies I have seen in years. If there was anybody around with even a little bit of acting ability when they were casting, they were sent home. Lack of a story line was the best part of the movie. My ex wife scares me more than anything in this film, and even that's not a lot.
There were several times during the move that it have been a blessing if the monsters came to the theater and put me out of my misery. Why didn't we walk out....you pay for the ride, and don't get out till the car comes to a complete stop. The popcorn was great.
