"The Peanuts Movie" reminds me of the thing that I love as a kid. Watching Peanuts specials on television and read their comic strip. I came to love the comic strip for thing, the kids are smarter and they don't talk down to the audience. The movie brings back memories of growing up with the comic strip. Christophe Beck's music score has borrow from the special, especially from "A Charlie Brown Christmas," inwhich i love very much because of the music score from the special. The kids in the movie haven't change. Lucy with her beauty and her ego, Linus who can make sense out of anything, Snoopy who is the center of everything and Charlie Brown who can't do anything right, tries to do good, but ends up flat on his face. In the movie, Charlie Brown tries to impress the Little Red-Haired girl with little sucess. This movie is fun to watch, Kids will like the movie due to Snoopy, but adult who watch the movie and television specials like me will like the movie even more.

Nothing like the old Peanuts from the tv and comics. Very slow and sometimes disorganized story line. Really hoped for a good movie, not it.

I Loved the movie, 65+ years of quips and quotes from the comic strip "Peanuts" and "Weepals" makes for a movie of reminiscing. The Story lines and subplots make for a wonderful nostalgic timeless movie. I hope this movie gets an Academy nomination for best animated movie. As is "A Charlie Brown Christmas" is a classic, I would consider this movie to be of that caliber.

The Peanuts movie reunites the audience with all of their favorite characters by Charles Shulz. Charlie Brown, Snoopy, Marcie, Peppermint Patty, Linus, Woodstock, Lucy, and all others are back in this great, fun, family friendly film. The Peanuts movie is basically three or four different events or stories in The Peanuts' universe, all with some loose themes and a thin overarching plot connecting them all. Easily one of the better non-Disney animated films in recent memory.

When I first saw that a new Peanuts movie was coming out, and it was going to be done with computer animation instead of the traditional hand-drawn animation, my fear was that they were going to screw it up and spoil that part of my childhood that really enjoyed reading the Peanuts cartoons and watching the TV specials.

Fortunately, that didn't happen. While the animation is computer-generated, it has the feel of the traditional hand-drawn animation from the TV movies. On top of that, the spirit of the Peanuts cartoons and TV specials is present here, which is the biggest reason why I'm able to give this movie a "Good" rating.

This doesn't have a deep, involved plot. It doesn't have character arcs. What it does have is the classic Peanuts characters that I grew up with, doing many of the same things they've always done, with an updated look that doesn't disgrace the legacy of Charles M. Schulz.

If you're a Peanuts fan, this is a movie worth watching. If you're not a Peanuts fan, I don't know what to say to you, you're not my kind of person.
