Dr. Strange has become the latest Marvel comic character to come to the big screen. In the comics, he made his appearance in Strange Tales #111, which before his appearance was started out as horror comic in 1951. when the comic codes were enforce, It later changed to science-fiction monster comic. the human torch was featured in Strange Tales along with Nick fury agent of shield. Dr. Strange comes off as a mysterious character where at the start of the movie, he was a successful surgeon. After a near fatal accident, he list his ability to control the nerves of his hand therefore he was left with nothing. He journeyed to Nepal where his life was changed by the teachings to control the mind and body. The movie was made by people who know a lot about comic books in general. His origin story appeared in Strange Tales #117 and while i was watching this movie, I was thinking about about that comic while i watch the movie. I saw the movie in 3D and in the past I said I didn't care what format you saw it in. well, now the rule has changed got this movie. You need to see it in 3D. If you are near a movie theater that has 3D, you need to take avange of it and see it in 3D. 2D movies are fine, but seeing it in 3D is lot better because you see things in 3D that you'll never see in 2D. The special effects are incredible and the music score is also incredible Benedict Cumbebath does Dr. Strange very well. We won';t be seeing the last of the doctor. he'll come back. Also a word of warning, stay for a credits for a appearance of a avenger. One hint: he didn't appear in "Captain America:Civil War."

While Doctor Strange is by no way Marvel's best film, it is still a solid base hit. With absolutely stunning visuals and enthralling performances by most of the main cast, drawing specific attention to Cumberbatch and Ejiofor. With such a unique premise to the film, it would've been easy for the makers to get too caught up in the mystical, but the movie was grounded well enough with moments of humor and realism. If possible, I definitely recommend seeing the film in 3D. The main gripe I have with the movie is that it suffers from the same curse as many other MCU films, wherein the problem lies in the villain. Mads Mikkelsen gave a fine performance as the villain, but the overall concept of the evil villain felt bland.

Overall, Dr. Strange is definitely worth a watch. The visual effects were pristine and the characters were grounded enough to make the movie good.

Definitely the most mystical of the Marvel movies I've seen so far. Without the strength of Benedict Cumberbatch, this movie would have fallen on its face under the burden of everything it expects viewers to absorb.
