"Ghostbusters" was one of the best films of 1984. This is Director Ivan Retiman's best work as director. The film is a mixual of humor and horror, as a group of professors organized themselves to rid the city of ghosts and whatever burps in the dark.

Bill Murray, plays Peter Venkman, the leader of the Ghostbusters. Dan Aykroyd, Harold Ramis, Earnie Hudson and Anne Potts round out the team. The film centers on a woman, played by Sigourney Weaver who experienced strange happenings in her fridge, that may lead to something big. Rick Moranis played her next door neighbor.

One of my favorite lines where a fantic Muarry tells the mayor,"Human sacrifices, dogs and cats living together! Mass Histeria!" The movie never took anything seriously, even the end of the world is taken for granted. The fun of the Saturday afternoon matinee is watching the hero save the day. In the Summer of 1984, they were such heroes who answered the call to duty. They ride a funny station wagon and with the background music added including the Oscar nominated title song, well... "Ghostbusters" made me feel good. THANKS GUYS!

Another one of those classic comedies that just shouldn't be missed in anyone's lifetime.

Thirty years ago, I step inside the theatre to see "Ghostbusters" fo the very first time. I was blown away by the movie. Thirty years later I'm seeing it again for the very first time and my love and memory of that movie never faded. The film is coming back into theatres for a limited time and for those who have seen the movie for the 10th time or for the first time, you will love the movie again. It will bring back memores of a younger time and that fun you will have with the movie. It will be a blast.
