I'm not much a fan of the superhero and I don't want to know why he became so popular with the comic book crowd. Deadpool has a future on the big screen but I find the movie violent and sometimes boring. I sat though violent movies in the last movie; movies such as "The Hateful Eight" and " The Revenant," but I'm drawing the line of this movie. Ryan Reynolds plays the iconic superhero and he can do it very well, but the film just got a little too violent and his origin story has kept the movie down. I love the one liners, especially in the end of the m,ovie as he pays homage to 'Ferris Bueller's Day Off" but it not enough for me to like the movie. There might be a sequel, I hope the sequel will be a major improvement ov er the first. I'm looking forward to it.

Solid movie. Good action, humor and a little bit of sex (Morena Baccarin is a knock out). Wish we'd gotten a little more of TJ Miller as the friend but the movie moves along at a good pace and the antagonist (Ed Skrein) also played his role quite well.

Just below See now level as this isn't Star Wars but given what's out right now, it's easily the best of the lot.

I enjoyed every second of this movie. While Deadpool is a comic-book based movie, it is very different from most others. A hard R rating gives Deadpool many moments of grotesque violence, graphic nudity, foul language, and so much more. All of this is very entertaining when put into the scope of this kind of a "super-hero" universe. Deadpool is truly a breath of fresh air into the genre, and subsequently is the 2nd highest grossing R rated movie of all time, behind Passion of the Christ (2004). Ryan Reynolds does a spectacular job as Deadpool/Wade Wilson. Nearly all of the humor in this film lands on many levels, most of it being meta humor (making fun of itself, fourth wall breaks, etc.) Ed Skrein saves his career from Transporter Refueled by coming in as the villain to Deadpool's anti-hero. It is clearly a very adult film, but so entertaining at the same time. One of the best of 2016 so far.
