While Suicide Squad is no without flaws, the visuals and action are spot-on. The lead performances by Margot Robbie and Will Smith as Harley Quinn and Deadshot respectively carried this movie extremely well. While Leto's joker didn't make much of an appearance in the movie, he was still a fresh take on the character that hasn't been seen on the big screen before. For what it's worth, Jai Courtney was okay in his role as Captain Boomerang. All in all, Suicide Squad is easily the strongest movie in the "DC Universe," although that's not saying a whole lot when it's competition is Man of Steel and Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.

You guess that there a lot of negative reviews of "The Suicide Squad." Probably the reason why the bad reviews I suppose that many film critic didn't get it about what it like to read comic books. I read comic book as a kid and the kids are school threaten to steal my comic books. I see the critics as the kids who like to steal away my comic book. So ignore the 26% ranking from rotton tomatoes. The movie is not based on the 1967 movie 'the Dirty Dozen," so how about we ignore that and to say that the it's based on the comic book series from DC's New 52 which started in 2011. As you may have guess that the there is no longer the new 52. It's is now called Rebirth. The movie opens soon after Superman is buried by events in "Superman vs. Batman:The Rise of Justice." There is concern that the new superman who attack the White House and take the President of the United States. I can understand that, When the new 52 was formed, they almost made Superman into DC's answer to 'the Incredible Hulk." So they brought villain from all over the DC universe. Will Smith playe Deadshot (Batman) Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn (Batman) Batman made a cameo, keep that in mind. Also in the group are Rick Flag, Captain Boomerang (The Flash)The Flash also makes a cameo, El Diablo, Killer Croc, Enchantress (Justice League Dark) Katara (Birds of Prey) and Slipknot. All brought under the leadership of Amander Walker.Haley Quinnis my favorite SS member. I hope to hear more things coming out of her. Her boyfriend the Joker is played by Jared Leto and this Joker is more insane that the last one. If you are into comics, you won't be disappointed by the movie. I wasn't disappointed and if anyone who wanted to know more about the DC Universe, it's a better place to start. Dc comic movies is follow Marvel movies into the later half of the 2010's and if you a comic fan, you should be excited to see what's next.
