A great movie from 1936 ewhich I saw many times on Turner Classic Movies. It's a movie that show pride in a town like Sam Fransico. It's also hads that amazing scene where the town was hit by an Earthquake. That earthquake actually in April of 1906 where the city was rocked, not by an earthquake, but by a series of fires which nearly destroyed the city. Clark Gable as a owner of a beer hall who goes up against Spencer Tracy over the soul of the city. When the earthquake hits, the two along with the city's residence banded together to find love ones and trying to survive. What a great movie. I hope you will get a chance to see it.
