Dynamic action and a layered villain make Black Panther another solid entry into the MCU.

Black Panther is an important film. While it doesn't quite reach the heights of other superhero fare, it is a rousing good time at the movies, and strikes a strong emotional core for its audience.

I like "Black Panther" not the best movie in the Marvel Universe, but still I like it. Aside from the acting I like the look of the Kingdom of Wakanda which may have been mistaken for Asgard, with all the tall buildings and flying space craft. I read the Black Panther back in the 1970's when he was introduced in the "Fantastic Four," and latter he end up with the Avengers. The film tells the hardship of T'Challa (I cant pronounced his name when I read the comics) as he rule the land with trouble from a credible villain and a rival. A lot of people loved the movie, I like the movie, but I see it as a springboard to the next Marvel movie, "Avengers: Infinity Wars." I saw on Facebook that famous people are offering free admissions to kids what wanted to see the movie. Black Panther is a perfect role model to kids who need a role model. A type of role model that we need right now.

Enjoyable, but I found it very hard to follow the story line.

In a crowded movie universe, freshness can be a compelling attribute. Such is the case with Black Panther.

We have a new character that hasn't had his own story yet, told from a cultural perspective that isn't American, or even European. We have a superhero that wouldn't be so super if not for his supporting cast, most of whom are women, and most are just as powerful as he is in their own distinct way.

I enjoyed Black Panther for its freshness, as well as its ability to tell a story that doesn't depend on the rest of the Marvel universe to be interesting in its own right. That aspect alone elevates it above many of the other movies.
