My All American is a good, heartfelt sports movie starring Aaron Eckhart and Finn Wittrock, directed by Angelo Pizzo. The movie is basically an underdog story about an aspiring college football player. Unless you're familiar with the story of the real life Freddie Steinmark, the ending comes as an incredible emotional shock. Overall, the film felt a lot like Rudy (1993) in the themes and story of an underdog collegiate football star.
