Hands down, Baby Driver is one of the best movies of the year so far. from Edgar Wright, director of films such as Shaun of the Dead, Hot Fuzz, The World's End, and Scott Pilgrim vs. the World. If you've seen any of these, you know that Edgar Wright has an extremely unique and distinct film making style, and Baby Driver delivers in every aspect.

Baby Driver has an outstanding cast (highlighted by Jamie Foxx, Ansel Elgort, Jon Hamm, and Kevin Spacey), its action is spectacular, the writing is incredible, and the story is beautifully told. Please go see this movie.

A fast pace action thriller that never let's up. "Baby Driver" is high octane thrill ride that goes nicely along with the music score, some of the songs I haven't heard in year. It's like "Bulliet," only with more action scenes. Ansel Elgort deserves an Academy Award nomination for playing a character, a character unlike anything that I have witnessed in years. He plays Baby, a getaway driver who drives to and from crime scenes. he's a kid with a kind heart. When he was little, he got involved in a car accident which left his ear humming.so he uses his Walkman to block out the hum. the other robbers don't like him, but was Kevin Spacey as the boss who has trust in the kid. He has a love interest, who told him to get out of the crime business but that won't be easy. Despite the number of times spacey told him that they're even, he can't get out of it. the music score consist of songs that I haven't heard in years. One such song "The Harlem Shuffle," by the Rolling stones, a song that i haven't heard in years. It's one of a number of cool song that fits nicely into the movie. It's a great movie that has chase scenes and lots of songs that carried the movie. Director Edger Wright has created one thrilling roller caster ride and it doesn't stop.

This movie oozes with style, often times with layers that you don't immediately notice (such as in the laundromat with the colors of the clothing spinning in the washers). The rhythm of the on-screen action with the music is the entire point of the movie, and it provides the movie with a connective tissue that elevates it above the average heist/chase movie.

Definitely recommended viewing, but not for the younger ones, as there is a body count and they're not afraid to show the result of gunplay.
