The best animated film of the year, and one of the best films of the year in general, Coco is extremely funny, heartfelt, and perfect for anyone of any age.

Pixar knocks it out of the park yet again. Coco is one of their best.

A stunning beautifully made animated movie which praises both family values and Mexican culture. These two combined seems strong in the movie and the film takes it very seriously. The movie centers on a kid name Migual who dreams of being a musician, despite his family generation-old ban on music after one of their own left the be a musician. His idol is Ernesto de la Ceuz and and his only hope is to journey to the Land of the dead to grant his blessing, since the other family members refuse to do so. I love the movie not because of the characters, but because of the cinematography which make not only this movie, but the Land of the dead looks very beautiful. I hope it gets an Oscar nomination for Best cinematography as well as best animated feature. I know that this Land of the Dead was done before in "The Book of Life" from the few years ago. But despite that, the film is fresh with strong characters and a plot twist that you don't see coming.

Great animation, good topic, a little sad in places. Great Grand daughter cried.

My sister went to see it in theaters and said it was great. I really wanted to see it while it was still in theaters, but never got the chance. Once I finally did get to watch it - via Netflix - I LOVED it! This is a movie about families, for families. It underscores the importance of being surrounded by those you love, and constantly supporting everyone in every step of their adventure in the great game of life.
