A good movie, even it's not up to par with "All The President's Men," it still good with a powerful performance by Cate Blanchett. The film tells a true story about CBS News' investigative piece about President George W. bush's millitary record which resulted in being brought down by right wing bloggers and Fox News. The center of all of this is Dan Rather played by Robert Redford who he and his team tries to expose the president record as distorted. After the story aired on "60 Minutes," the right take over public opinion exposing the story as a lie. Taking the heat is Mary Mapes who played brilliantly by Cate Blanchett in one of her best performances in years. She the reason why I'm stuck to the movie. This movie is a must see for those who wanted to get into broadcast journalism. You need to see this movie.
