This is a see now!

Great acting and recreations of the NASA environment.

This is a great lesson for the current generation as to how everyday life was and the struggles that took place for blacks in that time period. It also gives a good look at the behind the scenes work that took placed in the space race.

While the three lead performances by Taraji P. Henson, Octavia Spencer, and Janelle Monae are inspiring, the movie is cliched with a run time far too long. Kevin Costner and Kirsten Dunst do a respectable job, but the movie gets bogged down in the complexity of the story being told.

A brilliantly made movie that tells the story of three African-American women who enter NASA and not only change the space organization, but the helped changed the country forever. Katherine Johnson (Taraji P. Henson), Dorothy Vanghan (Octavia Spencer) and Mary jackson (Janelle Monae played three women who entered NASA in order to help the space program. What they did is helped lifted the space program much the same way as when the Tuskegee Airmen lifted the aviation program. Though the help of these three women they changed the way of how we view African American women, matter of fact they smartness and bravery has changed not only NASA, but this country as a whole. You need to see this movie. If that movie gets a least one Academy Award nomination, it will be a victory for this movie.

Fantastic story artfully told. I loved the character development and the complexity of the story. Another thumbs up for Spencer and Kostner!!!
