I generally avoid an R rated movie with several stars in it as it is usually nothing but swearing and sex. Though this did sort of start that way it did turn into a nice funny story that I enjoyed. A well done and interesting movie.

A good movie, but I never into the third installment of the Bridget Jones series. I love the first, but didn't care about the second and I got to same felling about the third movie. Renee Zellweger is appealing but she can't save this movie. In the first part of the movie, she fell into the mud at a music festival. I watch people fall into mud in a lot of movies, but watching people fall into the mud isn't as funny as it use to be. she is producer for a news Channel which feature women baring their breast and men showing off their butts. But she got pregnant and the only mystery in this movie is whose the father, is it Colin Firth or Patrick Dempsey. Emma Thompson is good as her doctor. she is a joy to see because she still looks quite beautiful in almost any role she's in. And watching Bridget struggling with her pregnancy isn't much of a joy for me. Yes, a lot of critics love this movie rotten Tomatoes gave the film a rating of 77%. this is the first time that i went against the grain, it won't be the last either. I love the performance of Zellweger and I hope she returns to the big screen again after spending some years away from it. the film also shown some of what she can do when she is writing, but the film stop short of showing her smartness. A mild let down for me.
