Excellent movie. Superb acting. This the after the fact story. The investigation by the NTSB and how they try to make Sully look bad. Very well written script.

"Sully" is a pretty good drama directed by Clint Eastwood, which at his age he is still making movies. Kind of reminds me of Woody Allen with his recent movie 'Cafe Society." Both actors turned directors aren't going to slow down anytime soon. "Sully" retold the story of how Captain Sully Sullenburger save the lives of 155 people by downing his jet into the Hudson. which follows by an investigation which follows. tom hanks gives a superb performance as the Captain who has to face the media, the celebrity statues and the investigations that follow. Aaron eckhart gave a good performance as was Laura Linny as his wife. This film was directed by Eastwood, this is not his beat work, but I got more out of the at movie than what you were told on television about the Miracle on the Hudson. Sully Sullenberger himself makes a cameo in the movie.

Don't know how they did it but it was a very realistic re-enactment of the facts,

Another wonderful drama starring Tom Hanks. While last year's Bridge of Spies was better, Sully was still an enthralling ride about a genuinely interesting story. The film didn't focus too much on the forced landing in the Hudson itself, but instead the investigations that followed. Clint Eastwood uses great storytelling devices, and tells the narrative in a unique way.
