In the first five minutes of "wilson, " I seen the title character and not onbly weird, but creepy. I find the same thing about Bad Santa, but unlike Bad Santa, Wilson doesn't impressive me with his charms, or lack of. He is played by Woody Harreison, which walks down the street with his dog want walks up to strangers and began to yack away. One day, his father died and he learns that he's got a daughter. But before he does that, he must reconnect with his estranged wife, played by Laura Dern in one of a few good performers in the movie. His daughter is nothing much and the chemistry between the two is lost in this movie. Another performer in the movie is Mary Lynn Rajskub who I saw her as an unrated actress. In this movie, she is only in one scene. I wish it could have in more scenes. But what do i know? This movie is based on the graphic movie and I was hopefully it will be like "American Splendor," another movie based on a comic book, but it never came close to it. Read the graphic novel and skip the movie.
