A silly little drama which ask the question, who invented the domestic dog. the movie takes place 20,000 years ago when a tribe are on the quest for pray.. Kodi Smit-McPhee is a tribe member who fell over the cliff and presumed dead. When he recover, he befriend a wild dog who eventually leads him back to the tribe. the movie is a little violent, a film which is pitching for family member who will be a tad to violent for the kids. the chemistry between the boy and the dog is the only thing that i like about the movie. the tribe doesn't speak English. Which is the main reason why there are subtitles in the movie. if the group speak English in the movie, it would be a bit weird since that language won't be invented for another 18,500 years.
