Never got started! What what I described this horrible little movie in which a cast which appears in other more better movies are stuck in a bad movie. The reason? A paycheck. could be the reason why they're there. This movie is made only for people who only sat though 4 movies a year (I read that 76% of people went to the movie four times a year) If you were in that group, you have a better chance of liking this movie than me, who sat though 117 movies in 2017. Take Morgan Freeman for instance. His character is no different than his role in the "Going in Style" remake last spring. the movie takes [place at a retirement resort around Christmas as Freeman who plays the ladies man is up against another ladies man played by Tommy Lee Jones to see who's the rules the village. After playing golf, throwing cards in a hat and weight lifting, the contest is at a standstill. Then some woman (played by Jane Seymour) who could have play her role better if she has taken off her wig. Then the movie got very silly and very bad. Rene Russo is appealing, but didn't do much to her role. The only good scene which came out of the movie is when we see Sheryl Lee Ralph is a bathtub. Otherwise, it nothing to like in this movie. Glenne Headly made an appearance. Sadly, this is her final movie role. This movie is one example of how a gifted cast is wasted by this movie. If you like to see two Santas fighting in the dining room, then maybe "Just Getting Started" is for you.
