Homecoming is the best incarnation of the Spider-Man character since 2004's Spider-Man 2. Tom Holland does an excellent job in the role of Peter Parker, bringing a youthful energy and wit to the character. The movie is funny when it needs to be funny, serious when it needs to be serious, and all around a great summer blockbuster.

I know many people are concerned with the level on inclusion that Iron Man has on the story, and while he's certainly involved a little more than what the trailers show, Tony Stark is by no means interrupting Peter's story.

Michael Keaton plays an antagonist with clear motivations for his actions, and it makes you feel empathetic for this villain, which is something that the early Spider-Man movies did right as well.

Overall, Spider-Man: Homecoming is definitely one of the best of the year so far, and is a triumphant homecoming (haha) for the character into the MCU.

The third and the best of the reboots. Not only it's the best, it's joyful. Even spider-Man is loose and having more fun that the last two spidermen. In the movie Spider-Man's alias Peter Park is having trouble in high school and must deal with the new villain the Vulture played by Michael Keaton. Aunt May is played by Marsia Tomei, who I called the sexiest aunt may ever. Some of the friends at school are better than the two reboots. Robert Downey Jr. makes a appearance as Iron Man. Even Gwyneth Paltrow made a cameo. But that movie isn't about him, it's about Spider-Man adjusting to his powers. I saw the movie in 3D IMAX. I sat in the front row. If you haven't see anything in 3D IMAX, you need to see it for the first time and "Spider-Man:Homecoming" is the film to start. One more thing, you need to stay for the final credits for clues of where the series will go next. I can't stress it enough. You miss the final credits, you going to miss what's going
to happens next.

This movie was not what I expected. I grew up with the boys in my grade talking about Spider-man. Aside from that, I had no idea who this guy was. Seeing it for the first time, not having seen any of the previous Andy Garfield Spider-man movies, I loved it! Everything was explained throughout the movie, so going in blind, this was a huge help. I would 100% recommend this for everyone, from families to adults. My friends and I have all watched his several times, and believe that this was the perfect movie we've been waiting for marvel to make for years.

How do you resurrect a franchise that has been run into the proverbial ground, not once, but twice?

You fill it with likeable actors that exhibit good screen presence and chemistry with each other, and back them up with a story that's worth everyone's time. That's what was done here.

Tom Holland does a great job of filling the titular role, and his surrounding classmates actually act like high school kids, with varying levels of friendliness, or lack thereof. It makes you believe that these characters actually exist and aren't just a writer's construct that support the primary character. Zendaya does an equally good job at putting her own spin on the MJ character.

If I had to pick only one of the Spider-Man series to watch, it would be this one. The sequel was fresh and one the same level as this one, so now it's up to the third installment to prove that 3 is not an unlucky number for the franchise.
