It has it's moments, and some cute characters, but doesn't live up to other animated films in recent memory.

One of the best movies of the year, if not the best movie of the year period! It's also the best animated movie of the summer and 2017 has been a lukewarm year for the genre. Not only the movie is beautifully, there are also characters that I love. what makes this movie special is the main character a girl name Felicie, who go to Paris with dreams of become a Ballerina, but first must prove herself to be a Ballerina. She is voiced by Elle Fanning whom I've been following her career since "Super 8." She is befriended by victor a inventor who was there for her. Not only the character Felicie is appealing and brave , but she looks beautiful. (I love redheads) And here I am in the audience cheering her on. When I do get emotional attached to her, not else matter. I had fun with the movie. It had some great moments. In one scene, they play the classic "Swam Lake," every time I heard that song, I was lost in the music. This movie isn't for the kids, but for adults who love animated movies like me. If you think animated movies are the same, you need to see this movie. You'll love this movie just as much as me. I'm in heaven over this movie.
