If you happen to love Joey King just as much as I do, then sitting though "Wish Upon" is a test of endurance and patience. it's nice to see King in this movie, but this movie is just awful. If it wren't for her, it would've been the worst movie of the year. King plays Claire a normal high school student who has a share of bullying, until her father (Ryan Phillippe) who in his spare time to dumpster jumping until he fond a gift and gave it to her. it's a Chinese wish box in which she is granted every wish, both good and bad. But though out the movie, that box got the best of her and it cause more pain for her friends. I love Joey King very much. I've been following her since "Romana and Beezus" and she won my heart in "White House Down," (she deserves an Oscar Nomination for her role and today I'm still standing behind that statement) because of those movie, I became her biggest fan and I still love her and despite tripping in "Wish Upon," I still love the actress very much. I only wish that she appear in better movie than "Wish Upon."
