The best looking, and most surprising film you will see all year, The Shape of Water is the best from Del Toro, and is a must see for everyone!

The film "The Shape of Water," directed by Gulliermo del Toro, pays tribute to the Science Fiction movies of the 1950's. Not only that, it capture the fears of the period ranging from Russian spies to segregation. the theme of this movie is that true love comes from unexpected places. Sally Hawkins, who I saw in Paddington 2 is a warm up for this movie. She plays Elisa, a mute woman who lives alone in her apartment who is from by Richard Jenkins who lives across the hall from her. She lives above the movie theater who she goes there from time to time. she works at Secret government Laboratory being run by Michael Shannon who doesn't take much to emerge as the villain in the movie. One day she befriends a creature who they kept imprisoned there and being tortured by his captors. he along with his neighbor, rescued the creature to keep from from Shannon's wrath. it's a great movie and you be surprise by how well the movie's made. I love the performance by Sally Hawkins. She's appealing and I love her very much. She may not be a beautiful actress, but if you ask me, she's is beautiful. I don't care what people think of her. I'm her biggest fan for life.

One of the most jaw dropping films of the year, in every aspect. My personal pick for Best Picture, The Shape of Water is one you don't want to miss.

Good but really different movie. The lead actress did a great job. Wonder what kind of mind would think about this and make it into a movie. Yikes. It was touching.
