There were some funny parts in this movie, I do like Queen Lativah but it was mostly obnoxious and loud. Definitely needed ear plugs and if you decide to rent it make sure you have your remote in hand to fast forward.

this trip goes nowhere. "Girl's Trip" may have rank 90% on Rotten Tomatoes, but his movie is downright bad. Last year when the movie was in theaters, I option not to see it and decided to see in on HBO. if it wren't for the performance by Tiffany Haddish, this movie could've been a lot worse, I don't care what Rotten Tomatoes said. the movie center on four life-long friends who went to the Essence Music Festival in New Orleans and while there they found themselves in the process. the film is dreadful in the acting, the writing and the plot. the screenplay consist of foul words and there are scenes in which the girls are in embarrassing situations. One scene involves one of the characters stuck above the sky between two building and she started peeing. When someone pees, it like turning on the fire hose. And hearing those girls scream reminds me of Estelle Parsons screaming in the 1967 movie "Bonnie and Clyde," but not in a good way. In addition to Haddish, the cast includes Regina Hall, Jade Pinkett Smith and Queen Latifah. All three are stuck in bad situations which call for quick solutions what deemed sitcom solutions, Only Tiffany Haddish is the only stand-out in the movie. She made her character her own and she gave some memorable moments in the movie. we need to pay attention to this actress. She's going to be an even bigger star as the years go by. but as far as this movie goes, "Girl Trip" doesn't go anyway.
