One of Ridley Scott's best in recent memory, All the Money in the World is a very tense thriller, that left me enticed and intrigued for its entire run time. Check out my full thoughts here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o4exPerFsJ4 Dec 30, 2017
Of seeing 50 movies this year, this is one of my top 3. Look for Academy nominations here. Especially Mr. Plummer. Jan 2, 2018
"All the Money in the World" has become the very first movie that has impacted the #MeToo movement. The movie was schudule to be release with Kevin Spacey in the lead, but with sexual Harassment claims against him, it was up to Director Ridley Scott to reshoot the scenes with Christopher Plummer replacing Spacey and as i saw the movie, it was easy because Spacey wasn't in too many scenes. The movie follows the kidnapping of John Paul Getty III. After Getty Senior refuse to pay the ramson, it was up to to boy's mother to bail him out and it won't be easy although she had help from Mark Wahlberg as one of Getty's aid. I follow the kidnapping way back in 1973 and for those who have never know what happen back in 1973, it becomes a history lesson of the kidnapping and what will happen next. Jan 28, 2018
Ridley Scott delivers a solid film, one of his best in the past few years. It's especially impressive when you consider the situation surrounding this film and Christopher Plummer's performance. Overall, I think this movie will be remembered and talked about for the choice to basically re-shoot half the movie, not remembered for the story being told.
