One of the best movies that took place in the early days of World War 2. A family in England had to edure nightly bombings and the prospect of lost peole to the bombings. Greer Garson plays the wife and mother who she and her family are confrined to their bomb shelter, but despite the bombings and the causitities, life goes on; not only them but the people in their lives. The movie is directed by William Wyler, whom four years later he will direct "The Best Years of Our Lives," about soldiers who come home from the war. This is one very powerful movie about trust, love and survival. You had to see this movie. Looking for more opinions?Check out our Featured Movie Reviews for Mrs. Miniver. |
