I know, "Crazy Rich Asians" is a hit with critics, but for some reason didn't care about the movie. Instead of "Crazy Rich Asians," there should be a better title. How about calling it "24 Hour Asian Party People," since most of the movie center on partying. the is a stylist but dull movie that center around a wedding and the drama that surrounds it. the only good character in the movie is an Asian woman who lied her way in the family and the people's reaction to that movie. The movie borders on soap opera/sitcom which doesn't do much to the movie. I'm impress by the large Asian cast, but the movie acts too much like a fashion show and little else.

This movie was a little confusing to me with all the people, thought it would be better.

A very entertaining film. It moves along at a good pace, is funny and again puts women in a position of power and wealth.A nice fantasy love story with great scenery and music

This is a fun comedy, and very predictable, but fun nonetheless. The universal themes of family and acceptance are present and the conclusion is ultimately satisfying.

However... it's hard not to think about whether this would have been as popular if not for the fact that nearly every character is traditionally attractive and also enormously rich. But it is what it is, so we should enjoy it on that level and the more serious conversations can be had in the after-movie discussions!
