A funny movie that doesn't lose sight of the issue of adaption."Instant Family" movie is a apology for the horribly bad "Daddy's Home 2." I'd rather see Mark Wahlberg in likable roles rather than in movies like "Mile 22," where he played an unlikable role. In the movie he and his wife played by Rose Byrne who decided to adapt, but ending up with three kids. their mother is dealing with drug problems. the kids have problems of their own. the youngest child tend to scream a lot, one won't stop crying and the eldest daughter is on a rebellious streak. Despite a few problems I had with the movie, I find it funny yet, I walk away from the movie with a knowledge that kids out there need a home and loving parents. I hope this movie will get more people in the adaption program and I hope more will kids will find homes and loving parents. Nov 28, 2018

I really wanted to like this - and certainly could have but we took our kids and there was so unbelievably much unnecessary swearing I was sorry I had brought them. Great story but poor execution. Nov 23, 2019
A good choice when you’re looking for something easy to watch on a Friday night. It doesn’t make you think too hard, doesn’t offend in any significant way, and if finishes off with a satisfying (if a little saccharine) ending.
