I was looking forward in watching "Book Club." I was looking forward in watching Diane Keaton, Jane Fonda and Mary Steenburgen. Especially Steenburgen who me and her follow each other on Twitter. As the saying, you lead a critic to the movie, but you can't make him like it. "Book Club" was directed by Bill Holderman and he co-wrote it with Erin Simms which looks like it was lifted from a episode of "The Golden Girls" TV show. The film open with the girls who form the book club forty years earlier is about to read "Fifty Shades Gray," which was made into a series of movies. I didn't like all three movies. I expect their reaction to the book will be sexual, but judging from the PG-13 rating, I don't think it going to go anywhere. these women might as well read "Dr. Seuss," because the book didn't sexuality influence them at all. The men they met in the movie are boring. There is nothing erotic going on the movie. the women all dressed sexy, but had nowhere to go. Where are the women from "Bad Moms" when you need them. One character played by Candice Bergman act is if she was still on "Murphy Brown." (By the way the series will return to television with new episodes) I wish I like the movie, but limited feeling from the cast didn't go far enough. I left the theater feeling heartbroken. I love the women in the movie. But that's about all I like.

The movies was somewhat good. I think it's best to see them on the Big Screen. it was interesting to see how they look now and how they have kept themselves up. Jane Fonda looked great. Wish Candace Bergen had kept herself up she was a very pretty lady and likable. Interesting.

Good movie, good acting all around, rather slow at times, but held my interest.
