Jennifer Lopez will never be a great actress. Yes, she appear in a few movies and is a accomplished singer. she is compare to Madonna. she is too s singer and a actress who only appear in a few good movies, not not that great an actress. Case of point is the movie "Second Act," in which Lopez turn her character into a fashion statement. She plays a woman trapped in a big box store who fake her resume in order to get a high-paying job at a perfume company. Jennifer Lopez isn't the only weak character. Other characters in the movie act like they were bused in from a sitcom. this movie has a feel of a sitcom minus the laugh-track.there is one character, a 10-year-old boy who swears like a sailor. The acting and the direction didn't help Lopez or this film. There should be great chemistry between Jennifer Lopez and Leah Remini, but that chemistry never went anywhere. Milo Ventimiglia is weak as the love interest. hear appears in the TV series "This is Us." Don't ask me what he does on the show, because I don't watch it. Vanessa Hudgens appears as the lost daughter. That chemistry between the two never click either. If Jennifer Lopez can prove me wrong to become a great actress, she needs to stay away from bad movie like "Second Act." One more thing, watching "Second Act" remind me of a TV show in which a woman fake her resume including her age and made it into the publishing business. The show is still on the air today and is one of my personal favorite TV series. That show is called "Younger."
