"Peppermint" could have based on a comic book or graphic novel, but didn't. Jennifer Garner gave a surprising performance in "Peppermint," a film about a woman who goes after drug dealer after they gun down her husband and her daughter. yes, that take me back a few months to "Sicario: Day of the Soldado," when a mother and daughter was blown to prices by a suicide bomber. that movie never recover form that scene. For some reason, this movie did recover. with Garner going undercover after the men she accused of killing her family, got off easy. Five years later she emerges to get after the ones who kill her family. Garner can prove that women can fight back just as well as the men. whatever she does, she comes off as sexy. Despite the 12% rating form Rotten Tomatoes, I happen to like the movie and Jennifer Garner's performance is the main reason why I like the movie. Sep 17, 2018
Good movie. Jen reminded me in this movie, of the female that starred in one of the Arnold Schwarzenegger movies. Almost in good shape as she was. Looking for more opinions?Check out our Featured Movie Reviews for Peppermint. |
