Viewers would watch "Cold Pursuit" are probably reminded of a another movie that was made over 20 years ago. the movie is "Fargo." I was reminded that when I saw "Cold Pursuit." But "Fargo" isn't the only move that deserves comparison. Another movie which came to mind is the 1966 movie "The Good, The Bad and the Ugly." Three main characters in the movie are different. each one has a mission of going after each other. The violent but fun movies tells of a snowplow driver played by Liam Neeson who his sun was murdered by drug dealers. His search for the truth becomes a revenge attack on those responsible for his death. Laura Dern who played his wife didn't stick around by the end of the first reel. Her note of why she left him is weird. You have to find out for yourself. The film is violent, but it also a bit funny. I won't give the ending, but you have to see it for yourself. Neeson gave a good performance. His best in years. You have to see him and the movie for yourself. Looking for more opinions?Check out our Featured Movie Reviews for Cold Pursuit. |
