Clint Eastwood being the main character I expected a more interesting and involved movie. I found it overall slow and boring. It is a nice story, but seemed to drag on forever.

What I like about the characters like the one Clint Eastwood played in "The Mule." He plays a character who don't have all the answers. He plays Earl Stone, a man who is divorce from his own family and his business was put in foreclosure he is hired to transfer drugs from knowing that what he's doing is illegal But hopefully, the money he's getting will help those around him. the Mexicans who hired him figure that an old white harmless man who drives a truck won't be suspected as someone who transfer drug. but Towards the end of the movie, he has to choose between his family and a job who he dislike, despite making a lot of money and using it to help those in need.. Clint Eastwood, who also directed the movie gave another powerful performance. This is the second movie in which he appear on screen, years after he announced his won't be doing any more performances on screen in "Grand Torino" This is like Cary Grant who announced his retirement from the screen in "Walk Don't Run" then came back for two more movies. Bradly Cooper (in his first role since "A Star is Born") plays a agent who is assigned to the drug case involving Eastwood. What i like about the movie are a long shot of Eastwood driving down the highway in hoes that he won't be caught for doing an illegal job.
