It is definitely a movie with a lot of very strong language. If going out for the week with a bunch of drunken sailors wouldn't bother you, then go see this movie. I was a sailor so the language did not greatly offend me, but the woman in your life may feel differently. Just be aware it is full of very foul mouthed New Yorkers. The movie itself is really good. The star is constantly making deals. So many so that you will get lost as he actually does during the height of the happenings. It is a very edgy film and I strongly recommend you get all the snacks you think you may want before it starts...take care of bathroom duties as well because you are going to find it very hard to leave during the movie...it is that fluid and you will miss something if you leave during the show. I think a lot of people will really identify with our hero. He is a real enterprising person and willing to go the distance for a buck. He will not get a good seat when he attains room temperature.
