An enchanting movie about a girl (played by Alexis Bledel, who played one half of "The Gilmore Girls") who is befriended by a family of backwood people who discovered special water that makes them live forever. There are strong performance by William Hurt, Ben Kingley and Sissy Spacek. But it was Bledel, along with the music score and cinemography, which convince me to recommend the film.

Very enjoyable movie! Plot is intriguing and the acting is first-rate. I love Sissy Spacek and William Hurt, but the two young leads are the ones to watch!
